I Had Such A Good Weekend was the first project of our second year at University, for this I was assistant editor/Colour grader. This was my first time colour grading and admittedly after practising with Da Vinci Resolve more after post production finished, I only began to scratch the surface of what was possible when it came to properly grading a film. I also from this project understood how closely I needed to work with the cinematographer so we could form a coherent vision on what we want the film to look like, however I think there are aspects of the colour grade that I definitely got right, that would foreshadow my potential within the program.

In terms of editing there wasn't much I ended up being needed for, I organised clips and audio files together ready for the editor to sync, an essential skill for assistant editors to learn, however this was a too many cooks in the kitchen type of situation as I did not wish to be a detriment to my peer by overstepping and doing part of their job for them and costing them potentially higher grades. this section is more to mark my progression with the use of Da Vinci Resolve.
